The BEAVER in her last incarnation. Over her life she had been gradually shorn of her masts and bowsprit and ended her days towing coal barges and lumber ships in and out of ports on the coast. Slow but reliable, she had become an unmistakable character. Her wreck at Prospect Point at the entrance to Vancouver Harbor provided material for souvenir hunters for decades.
